When integrating materials science, electronic engineering, and computing technology into our curriculum and learning materials, we are guided by a core philosophy: true Educational Technology (EdTech) is never about the superficial accumulation of flashy "tech facades."


In today’s world, crafting products with a high-tech appearance is hardly a challenge for most companies. Yet, the true value of technology lies in its ability to seamlessly weave into the fabric of users' daily lives and habits, delivering genuine convenience and profound inspiration.


Imagine a baseball bat or a golf club that looks and feels exactly like its traditional counterpart. The learner simply swings as usual, immersing themselves purely in the joy of the sport through the philosophy of "Learn by Doing." Meanwhile, the sensor technology concealed within silently captures dynamic data, generating precise analytical reports to perfect their posture. The technology remains unobtrusive, yet it facilitates extraordinary learning outcomes. This is the fundamental distinction we draw between the essence of "True Technology" and the mere "Illusion of Tech."


In the realm of EdTech, we believe that inspiring students to observe the nuances of everyday life and utilize technology to improve it is infinitely more valuable than merely lecturing them on processing speeds or complex software features. True EdTech acts as the invisible wings of learning, empowering students to discover the profound meaning of knowledge through hands-on practice and authentic, real-world experiences.

重新定義教育科技:讓科技隱於無形,讓學習歸於實踐!


當我們結合材料科學、電子工程與電腦運算技術來設計課程與教材時,我們深信一個核心理念:真正的「教育科技」(EdTech),從來不在於盲目堆砌表面的「科技感」。


在當今時代,要打造出具備高科技外觀的產品,對許多企業而言已非難事。然而,科技的真正價值,在於它能否無縫融入使用者的生活與習慣之中,帶來實質的便捷與啟發。


試想像,一支外觀與重量都與傳統無異的棒球棒或高爾夫球桿,學習者只需如常揮動,在「做中學」(Learn by Doing)的過程中純粹地體驗運動的樂趣;而隱藏於器材背後的感測科技,卻能默默收集動態數據,精準生成有助於改善姿勢的分析報告。科技不喧賓奪主,卻能成就更卓越的學習效能——這,就是我們所強調「科技」與「科技感」的根本區別。


在教育科技的領域裡,我們認為引導學生去觀察生活細節、運用科技改善生活,遠比單純灌輸「電腦運算有多快」或「工具功能有多繁複」來得重要。真正的 EdTech,是讓科技成為學習的隱形翅膀,讓學生在動手實踐與真實體驗中,發掘知識的真正意義。
